Who We Are

Tiruvannamalai Social Service Society (TVMSSS) was established in 2003 as the official social development organization of the Catholic Diocese of Vellore. It was founded with a vision to address the social, educational, economic, and health challenges faced by poor and marginalized communities in Tiruvannamalai District. Recognizing the need for a dedicated institution to support vulnerable families, women, children, farmers, and disadvantaged groups, TVMSSS began its journey with a commitment to building a society based on dignity, justice, equality, and compassion.

Over the years, TVMSSS has grown into a trusted community development organization serving people across the seven taluks of Tiruvannamalai District. Through a wide range of programs in education, women empowerment, livelihood promotion, community health, environmental sustainability, and social welfare, the organization has reached thousands of individuals and families. By working closely with local communities, government agencies, volunteers, and development partners, TVMSSS has created opportunities that help people become self-reliant and improve their quality of life.
